We are all going through a very unprecedented strange tough time with the COVID-19. Some will suffer more than others but this is a good time to accept, analyze the situation, understand your role and give value to those that really need it now. The Yoga and Wellness professionals of the world will be a silent but vital network of support to those at home on a physical and mental level. A vital network of support to worldwide healthcare systems that are being and will be overwhelmed by this silent enemy called Coronavirus.

This is the moment to use the Social Networks in the best possible way to nurture your crowds, get innovative and carry on helping those that love your energy and your wisdom. But also, to spread your magic further as the world’s attention and need is online at the moment. Of course, like everyone else, the income is an essential part of our survival and in these times those that love what you do, your value will understand that and will hopefully carry on supporting you. So structure your offer in a way that you can give free value to those in need but also some of your offer should carry on being paid as you need to make a living. This might be obvious for some of you but not for others that aren’t commercially and tech savvy.

Here are some ways and options of doing this to keep your business alive and bounce back stronger after this situation ;

  • Create a private Facebook Group to offer your normal classes to your students and ask for a drop in donation or a fraction of your normal cost to join the group.

  • Give free bite size wellness tips, exercises or breathing techniques through your normal posts on your Facebook page or Instagram as a tasters and inform of your Live classes in your group.

  • Theme each free taster so that people can find the right value for them and understand what will they get in your private paid Group.

  • Encourage your crowd to spread the word within their networks.

  • Get creative in your offering and relate it to the moment we are going through.

  • Spread the word of what you offer into other groups that need support in these times (mums at home groups, Anxiety groups, Teachers groups, Nurses groups, Doctors Groups, Depression groups, you name it).

  • Strike partnerships with other wellness professionals and cross pollinate your crowds with your amazing value.

Use this moment to understand your role, by giving free bite size value you are helping others but helping also yourself as more people will be interested in your offering no matter where they are. Through this you will gain a loyal following that will be interested in connecting personally with you when this is over. This can be translated to people joining your real classes once this situation is finished or even joining you on a retreat you might be launching in the future. Having a community online has tremendous value as it can help you shape your offer whichever it is according to their needs. You can even create polls to ask them what they prefer in terms of your classes, retreat locations and whatever you think you can offer they will be there to offer their point of view.

But remember, it is important to understand your role and don’t be ashamed of valuing your offer as it is of immense value to many people and even more so in these days.
