Experience Retreats is a free directory of vetted yoga and wellness retreat venues available for exclusive hire. We serve yoga teachers, mindfulness facilitators, and wellness retreat leaders who need to find and book a venue for their group — without paying platform fees or commission. You browse our curated collection, tell us about your retreat, and we connect you directly with the venue owner.

How do I find a venue for my yoga retreat?

Browse our collection by region and click through to any venue page for full details including accommodation capacity, yoga studio specifications, catering options, and available activities. When you find a venue that fits, submit an enquiry with your dates and group size. We'll make a direct introduction to the venue owner, usually within 24 hours. You then deal with the venue directly and we will support you along the way — but with no intermediary nor booking fees.

What types of retreat can I host at these venues?

Our venues are used for yoga retreats (Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Ashtanga, restorative, kundalini), meditation and mindfulness retreats, breathwork and somatic workshops, 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher training programmes (YTT), women's wellness retreats, plant-based nutrition retreats, digital detox and silent retreats, corporate wellness programmes, and holistic healing immersions. Each listing specifies which retreat styles the venue is best suited for.

Do I have exclusive use of the venue?

Yes. All properties in the Experience Retreats collection are available for exclusive hire also — your group can have the entire venue to itself for the duration of your retreat.

How much does it cost to hire a retreat venue?

Pricing varies by venue, season, group size, and duration. Venues in our collection range from intimate villas accommodating 8–12 guests to larger centres hosting up to 30 participants. Most venues are priced per week on an exclusive-use basis. Enquire about specific dates for a pricing quote — we do not mark up prices, you always pay the same as if you went directly to the venue and you pay the venue directly always.

Does Experience Retreats charge a commission or booking fee?

No. Experience Retreats charges zero commission and zero booking fees to retreat leaders. Our service is completely free for retreat hosts. We earn revenue from venue membership fees paid by the properties in our collection. You always deal directly with the venue and pay the venue directly.

How far in advance should I book a retreat venue?

We recommend booking 4–9 months in advance for peak season dates. Summer retreats in Europe (June–September) and dry-season dates in tropical destinations like Nicaragua, Mexico, and Sri Lanka book up earliest. Teacher training programmes requiring 10–21 days of exclusive use should be planned 9–12 months ahead. For off-peak shoulder season retreats, 3–4 months' notice is usually sufficient.

What is included in a typical retreat venue hire?

Inclusions vary by venue but typically cover: exclusive accommodation for your group, a dedicated yoga shala or studio with props (mats, blocks, bolsters, straps), fully equipped kitchen, linen and towels, WiFi, and mid-stay cleaning. Optional extras available at most venues include organic catering or meal coordination, airport transfers, excursions, and on-site wellness treatments.
